About Savoir
We build it. You own it.
We build AI and software across industries, from a focused model to a complete production system.
The work is complete when your team can run it.
That’s our measure of a successful project.
01The way we work
Savoir builds AI and software for the problem at hand. That can mean a language model adapted for a research team, a product built from scratch, or an automated workflow on a factory floor. Our work spans industries and runs from the first specification to production.
We begin with the people doing the work. Understanding a process means seeing where information arrives, where decisions are made, and what happens when something goes wrong. That becomes the basis for a written scope.
During the build, working increments make progress visible. Tests, monitoring and a record of decisions are part of the system, so your team can understand its behaviour and investigate a problem.
The engagement includes a handover. Your team receives the source, documentation and operational knowledge, with the accounts in your control. Support remains available when you need it.
02How we operate
- Team
- Small and senior. The people who scope the work build it. No layers of account management.
- Engagement
- Fixed scope and price after specification. Two-week delivery increments.
- Ownership
- You hold every repository, model, cloud account and credential from day one.
- Stack
- Chosen for whoever inherits it. Proven components where the load is carried.
- Confidentiality
- No client is named publicly without written agreement.
- Exit
- Every engagement is designed to end. Support afterwards is optional, never structural.
03What guides our decisions
- The system outlives the engagement
- We write for the engineer who joins in eighteen months and has never met us.
- Boring where it counts
- Proven components in the load-bearing places. Novelty only where the problem is genuinely new.
- Measured, not asserted
- Latency, cost, error rate and accuracy are instrumented from the first release.
- We name what we decline
- We write down what a system will not do before we build it.
- Handover is the deliverable
- An engagement ends when your team can run the system without us.
- Invisible when correct
- A finished system stops being a topic of conversation.
